    October 1, 2020, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

    As you age, you lose muscle mass, increase fat mass, your bones get brittle. This class will help burn fat and increase lean muscle mass, bone mineral density and metabolism. You will sculpt and strengthen your entire body by using low weight and high repetitions or high weight and low reps using all kinds of equipment which is sanitized afterwards. All fitness levels will be accommodated. Bring a mat. Space limited. Wear mask into building but not required to exercise. 18+. 14-17 with paying parent or caregiver. We will not be on the ground for this class and shoes may be worn (if they are not, please bring a mat to stand on). A cushion or blanket might be nice to sit on.     You will still sculpt and strengthen your entire body by using low weight (not super low, but lower than an Olympic weight lifter!!) and high repetitions. Participants may use a barbell, dumbbells or no weight at all. All fitness levels will be accommodated! This has been proven to be one of the quickest ways to get in shape. New students may want to check out a Strength Training basics class beforehand but not required. Remember, as you age, you lose muscle mass, increase fat mass, your bones get brittle. Weight Lifting increases lean muscle mass, increases bone mineral density, increases metabolism, burns fat and so much more.

We will focus on different body parts and you will find different movement patterns that may help you to correct an issue that has arisen due to overuse (doing something over and over), misuse (doing something over and over the wrong way) and abuse (maybe you fell recently or even a long time ago). Participants may use a barbell, dumbbells or no weight at all. All fitness levels will be accommodated! This has been proven to be one of the quickest ways to get in shape. New students may want to check out a Strength Training basics class beforehand but not required. Remember, as you age, you lose muscle mass, increase fat mass, your bones get brittle. Weight Lifting increases lean muscle mass, increases bone mineral density, increases metabolism, burns fat and so much more.
