Fitness Classes & Events

  1. Mobility Yoga Flow - 8:30 AM

    September 7, 2021, 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

Mobility Yoga Flow (MoYo Flow) - This class will not be a traditional Vinyasa Yoga Flow. This Yoga Flow will be a slower mobility-based flow incorporating mobility and Pilates sequences (meaning you will not be moving quickly from pose to pose. You will be moving mindfully and through full range of motion. This means everyone will look different. We've all been through different life experiences and this class will take that into consideration). Anyone can do this class, but you will be getting a totally different experience than any other person. This is a great class for anyone who is just not sure of what is going on with their body lately! You will get to know your body and what it can do and when it may need a different variation of a movement to increase mobility. Please bring a mat and 2 blocks if you have them (I will also bring some). A pad or blanket for your knees may be helpful.

The combination of gentle Hatha and deep restorative work improves range of motion and joint mobility while reducing pain and the effects of stress. Students with injuries, arthritis, or other chronic conditions are welcome in these classes. Practitioners with limitations related to age or size as well as students with a more vigorous yoga practice will benefit from this practice. No prior yoga experience required. Please bring a mat, a blanket and blocks if you have them. 18+ (14-17 with paid parent/caregiver) Space limited. Instructor: Dana Stelitano
