Severe Weather

Guest Safety is our #1 priority

  • When severe weather conditions are within five miles, our Thor-Guard severe weather warning system automatically alerts golfers with one long horn blast. At that time, all golfers must cease play and return to the clubhouse. When conditions improve to an acceptable level, the warning system will automatically sound three short horn blasts. At that time, golfers may return to the golf course at their previous position.
  • Guests must present their golf fees receipt to obtain a rain check.
  • Rain checks are pro-rated based on the fees paid and number of holes completed.
  • No cash refunds will be given for any golf fees. Rain checks will be issued consistent with the fees purchased, providing the conditions warrant the stoppage of play. Rain checks are redeemable for one year from issued date and are not valid for a cash refund or merchandise.
  • Cranberry Highlands Golf Course reserves the right to close the golf course at any time due to weather, unplayable conditions, or golf course work, especially during the off-season (November 1 through April 1)
