2022 Fall Campaign

August 23 - September 6

Our goal:  Encourage safe driving habits throughout Cranberry's neighborhoods.
Be aware and drive with care ™

The campaign is set for August 23 to September 6, coinciding with the beginning of the Seneca Valley School District academic year.

This school year brings the opening of the new Ehrman Crest Elementary and Middle School located at 2070 Ehrman Road in Cranberry Township. Motorists are asked to be alert for changes in school bus stop times and travel patterns, as well as additional school bus traffic around the new school.

Thanks to the Cranberry Township Police for their efforts during the Slow Down campaign and throughout the year.

Program costs are underwritten by the Cranberry Township Community Chest, RJ Community Management, Acri Community Realty, and Cranberry Township.

Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 in local neighborhoods

Cranberry neighborhoods join together bi-annually to encourage drivers to adhere to the posted 25-miles per hour speed limit, as well as all posted speed limits throughout the Township.

More neighborhoods take part each year with hundreds of signs posted and distributed in the participating areas, along with mobile speed-reading trailers, traffic counter tubes, and increased police presence. The campaign is open to all neighborhoods (with at least 5 participating neighbors). Slow Down Campaign Guidelines

Operating at a safe speed and exercising good judgment on the roads, sidewalks, trails, and parking lots is everyone’s responsibility!
