The summer of 2014 was a good season for Cranberry’s Parks & Recreation programs. At their October 2 meeting, the Township’s Board of Supervisors heard from several of the department’s program managers about increased attendance, improved staff training, better external relationships, and growing prestige associated with its summer recreational programs. Altogether, the Waterpark saw more than 50,000 admissions while the various Camp Cranberry offerings registered 1,447 campers, primarily from among Township residents. Several facility improvements, including wi-fi at the Waterpark, were implemented over the summer and more are planned for next season.
