The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, which has extensive land holdings associated with its highway system, has agreed to transfer a quarter-acre parcel to Cranberry Township. The small tract, adjacent to the toll road, will enable Cranberry to build a long-planned walking trail linking Powell Road to Graham Park. At its February 26 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors voted to accept and sign the $2,700 sales agreement and deed transferring the property to the Township.
