Various alterations to the Master Plan for developer Gary Sippel’s Cranberry Springs project were approved by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at its June 4 meeting. One involved changing lot lines, resulting from the purchase of a 4-acre parcel adjacent to the eastern side of its 90-acre property. Another modification changes an area of the development which was originally proposed to house three of Cranberry Springs’ four restaurants; it will now accommodate two larger restaurants, leaving their combined square footage unchanged. Also changed was splitting of the phase sequence for construction of a five-story, 96 room Marriott Townplace Suites hotel. The Conditional Use application which the Board approved covers the entire Master Plan revision.
