Starting November 2, anyone aching to tell their fellow residents to pay more attention to their driving will have the opportunity to buy a trailer-mounted speed sign that Cranberry is auctioning online. The trailer, along with two pickup trucks and an assortment of gameroom-ready traffic lights, as well as pool heaters, office equipment and other items, will be available for bidding at Municibid until November 26.
At its October 29 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors authorized the sale. And you don’t need to be a government official to participate in the website’s eBay-style auctions which include surplus items from local governments throughout the northeastern U.S.
