The improvements, which include a separated and greatly expanded baby pool, a climbing wall, a dump bucket, in-pool benches, a waterslide timer and a new filtration system, will be showcased alongside the Waterpark’s popular spray pad zone, sand play area, volleyball sand court, playground, diving well and food concession features.
While supplies last, everyone attending will be given free sunglasses, courtesy of Rhodes Orthodontics along with water-safety pouches, popcorn, snow cones from Dan Ryan Builders and UPMC sunscreen and water bottles. Additionally, children will enjoy playing on inflatables, sponsored by Victory Family Church.
The afternoon will feature music by KardaZ along with games and crafts on the Waterpark’s sun decks. A “Dump the Supervisors” inaugural event will take place at 2:30 to thank the Township’s Board for supporting the Waterpark upgrade. As they leave at the end of the day, kids will be offered free temporary tattoos.
