Charter Homes’ ambitious development on the 57-acre Meeder farm property at the corner of Rt. 19 and Rochester Road is a complex project that includes just about everything: retail stores, restaurants, office space, detached single-family homes, several types of townhouse units and apartments as well as an internal road network and open recreational spaces. As part of the applicant’s conditional use request, at its September 27 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors got to see the developer’s pattern book as well as exhibits showing a modified parking arrangement, stormwater detention, and plans for rehabilitating the Meeder family farmhouse and barn. Following public comments, the Board agreed to consider action on the conditional use request at its October 11 meeting.
