The Board voted to recommend to Governor Tom Wolf that Scott Garing be appointed to the position. Garing was recently hired as Chief of the Township’s Fire and Emergency Services.
Responsibilities of the EMA Coordinator include ensuring all components of the comprehensive EMA program are up to date and able to be quickly activated.
If appointed by Gov. Wolf, Garing would appoint deputy coordinators to assist during times the EMA plan is activated.
