On October 30th, the Board of Supervisors heard testimony on the Summerwind proposed residential development on Freedom Road.
The proposal includes constructing 66 townhouse units on vacant and undeveloped residential properties. The plan is generally consistent with the CCD overlay district and vision set forth for this area after the adoption of the comprehensive plan.
Stormwater controls will manage all runoff from the development and accept runoff away from LaPorte Drive and Freedom Road. The project includes sidewalks and pedestrian improvements along Freedom Road.
