A project to replace one of the Township’s oldest pump stations now has contractors following the February 6 Board of Supervisors meeting.
The Board approved several contracts to replace the Franklin Acres pump station and install a new force main. The existing pump station and force main were constructed in the late 1970s and are reaching their working life expectancy. The new infrastructure will handle the current sanitary flows and the anticipated future growth in the area.
Contracts include:
- General Contractor: Wagner Development Co. Inc.
- Electrical Contractor: McCurley Houston Electric Inc.
- Force Main: E2 Landscape & Construction
- Construction Services: HRG
The project received a $960,000 federal grant, with more funding mechanisms involved for the overall project cost.
