Several Township water and storm sewer upgrade projects are progressing.
The Board of Supervisors authorized the bidding process on May 29 for the Wyndmere, Wayne Drive, and Northfield Road Storm Sewer Upgrade projects, which were recommended by the Cranberry Township General Authority and will improve publicly owned stormwater infrastructure in the Township.
Additionally, the Board will consider awarding a separate contract for the third phase of the Sun Valley Waterline Replacement Project to Metarko Excavating LLC, with work to take place this summer.
It will also consider a design services agreement with Penn E&R for the Pin Oak Court Waterline Replacement Project. The area has seen numerous breaks in the cast-iron line originally installed in 1964. The final design is expected to be completed this fall, with work to begin in Spring 2026.
